KUALA TERENGGANU: Sarawak managed to score a point when it drew 1-1 against Terengganu Football Club II (TFC II) 1-1 in the second match day of the Premier League at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium here, Monday night.

TFC II took the lead through prolific Nigerian striker Akanni Sunday Wasiu, who fired a shot in the first minute of the match after receiving a pass from Mohd Haidhir Suhaini.

Mustafa Kamal Abdul Wahab’s men continued the onslaught on the visitors’ goal, but failed to double the lead.

This proved costly for the Sang Penyu squad, as Sarawak managed to equalise in extra time, through Bobby Gonzales. TFC II will meet MIFA in their next game at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium, while Sarawak will take on Felcra FC in Kuching next week. — Bernama
