SIBU: State golfer Lee Ka Tung fired a 69 to lift the gross title in the 15th Swan Golf Fellowship (SGF) Chinese New Year Special at Sibu Golf Course last weekend.
Lee Ka Tiong netted a 77 to finish second followed by Winston Lau, Roland Ha and Bujang Zainuddin.
In the nett section, Ting Siew Hock was champion with a 66, followed by Chieng Puong Ching (67, OCB), Joe Wong, Wong Lay Nam, Lau Kieu Jan and Lau Ching Leong.
Over 90 golfers from Sibu, Bintulu and Miri took part in the annual championship sponsored by Ta Ann Group chief executive officer Dato KH Wong.
Wong and SGF president Datuk Dr Soon Choon Teck also took part in the championship.
During the prize-giving dinner, Wong announced that he would sponsor the 16th edition of the tournament next year.
