Alexiss wins Megalanes Skin’s Challenge Final Open category

KUCHING: Alexiss O’Neil beat 11 other finalists to win the Open category of the Megalanes Skin’s Challenge Final at Megalanes Adventure World (MAW) King’s Centre on Tuesday night.

He posted scores of 203-213-169-227-234-223-208-193-185 for a total of 1,855 pins after nine games, followed by Robert Lu in second place with 1,778 pins.

In third place was senior but evergreen bowler Edward Juit who amassed a total of 1,730 pins.

Eugene Lai managed a fourth place finish after he recorded a total of 1,721 pins, while Lim Cho Kwang, who just hit a perfect game at MAW few days back, had to settle for fifth position after accumulating 1,685 pins.

Azree Abdul Rahman, who won the Megalanes Skin’s Challenge Grand Final for the 169 & Below category few months back, had to be contented in sixth position with 1,682 pins, followed by Benny Teo in seventh position with 1,621 pins.

A further 19 pins behind Benny was Wan Ibrahim in eighth position and Isman @ Osman Sri grabbed ninth place with 1,581 pins.

Ayden Phang, Adrian Koh and Danny Lim ended up in 10th to 12th position respectively.
