Dato Sri Rohani Abdul Karim
KUCHING: Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Dato Sri Rohani Karim was not rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital yesterday as alleged in social media groups.
Her press secretary Kamarul Fandi Kamaruddin said Rohani, who has just been elected as the new Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy women chief, only went for normal health check-up as she was having a slight fever.
Kamarul said any reports alleging Rohani was unwell, was not true at all.
Several social media groups alleged that Rohani was unwell and had to be rushed to SGH. Rohani was attending the PBB Women 14th General Assembly at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) yesterday.
