CM and entourage attend CNY open house in Sibu

SIBU: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife Datin Patinggi Dato Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang were here yesterday for their Chinese New Year visit.

The couple first stopped by at the residence of Ta Ann Group’s chief executive officer Dato Wong Kuo Hea. This was followed by a visit to KTS Group’s managing director Dato Henry Lau Lee Kong, where Abang Johari and Juma’ani as well as their entourage were also welcomed by Julau MP Datuk Joseph Salang and KTS Group’s deputy managing director Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming.
Later, the entourage visited Minister of International Trade and E-Commerce Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh.

Soon Koh’s wife Datin Sri Pauline Leong and his son Dato Andrew Wong were also there to welcome the guests. The chief minister and his entourage also went to the residence of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Dudong branch chairman Datuk Dr Soon Choon Teck.

Accompanying Abang Johari and Juma’ani during the Chinese New Year visits here were Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Assistant Minister of Transportation Datuk Dr Jerip Susil and Engkilili assemblyman Dr Johnichal Rayong.
