Takaful Ikhlas adds another feather to cap with award

KUALA LUMPUR: Takaful Ikhlas Berhad (Takaful IKHLAS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Berhad (MNRB) recently added another feather to its cap when it received Southeast Asia Islamic Business and Finance Award for the Best General Takaful Provider from the CPI Financial headquartered in Dubai Media City.

According to president and chief executive officer of Takaful IKHLAS Datuk Ab Latiff Abu Bakar, the award is a significant accomplishment for Takaful IKHLAS which has been in operations for almost 15 years.

“This achievement is recognition of the collective effort of the staff, agents and business partners of Takaful IKHLAS. Their continuous efforts together with the implementation of our key strategies have led Takaful IKHLAS to provide protection to more than 2 million policyholders comprising both individuals and corporations,”

“We are constantly on the lookout for new ideas to ensure that we are able to offer innovative products that fit the needs of our customers,” he added.

Takaful IKHLAS offers a selection of motor and non-motor products under its general takaful portfolio which includes comprehensive plans for the protection of vehicles, buildings and other assets.

It will continue to expand its range of products to meet the ever-changing demands of their customers for the long run.

Takaful IKHLAS started its operation in July 2003 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Berhad, which is listed in the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Securities) of which the major shareholder is Permodalan Nasional Berhad and various PNB Unit Trust schemes.

On May 5, 2014, the company converted its status to be public company.
