LIMBANG: More new teams are expected to join the fray for this year’s Limbang League which starts on March 1.
Limbang Football Association (LFA) is looking forward to exciting competition with the combination of many new players with senior players.
“With more teams participating, there will be stiff competition compared to previous years and thus I have full confidence that the Limbang League is capable of improving the quality of the competition besides able to form strong teams,” LFA deputy president Frederick Lalung said.
“We invite more football teams to compete to enliven the Limbang League this season,” he added.
The closing date for registration is on Feb 25.
LFA has also introduced online registration at https://goo.gl/forms/21A9guoBlz1ApHLH3 for teams wishing to participate.
Since 2010, Limbang has as many as six league competitions namely the Super League, Premier, FA, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan Cup, the Veterans Cup and the Youth League.
