Courier take half kg Syabu-Syabu to Malaysia

BANJARMASIN, S Kalimantan: A courier of drug ring who was arrested by South Kalimantan Drug Police took almost half a kilogram of syabu-syabu directly to Malaysia, Antaranews reported.

“The suspect was quite brave because he immediately departed from Banjarmasin to take drugs to Malaysia,” said Director of Drug Investigation Police Sr Comr (Kombes) Muhammad Firman, Thursday.

He said the man with the initial GFM (32) was smelled to take the drug to Malaysia thanked to join investigation by Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) and South Kalimantan National Narcotics Agency (BNNP).

“We are both receiving information and agreed each other that BNN members to Jakarta to monitor and my members waiting at Syamsudin Noor Airport,” he told.

After a long investigation, finally on Thursday (22/2) at around 12:45, GFM out of the Syamsudin Noor Airport’s arrival room and immediately ambushed.

“The evidence was found syabu-syabu weighing 484.50 grams from the backpack of the perpetrator,” said Firman during the case exposure alongside Head of BNNP’s Eradication Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Edy Saprianadi.

They then developed the case until they found other actors H (37)
and MR (34) who acted as the recipient of goods in Banjarmasin.

During the search at the perpetrator’s house on Jalan Veteran, Martapura, officers found 160 Mickey Mouse logo pink ecstasy.

Firman revealed the international network of drug suppliers to Banjarmasin is controlled by prisoners in the Karang Intan Narcotics Prison with initials R (36) and H (38). Both are now being examined by prison officers.

While GFM claimed to get wage Rp35 million for once take drugs to Malaysia. He has twice brought sabu-sabu through Malaysia route to Banjarmasin transit in Jakarta.
