PDRM announces transfer of six senior police officers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has announced the transfer of six of its senior officers, effective Apr 16.

In a statement today, PDRM head of Corporate Communications Datuk Asmawati Ahmad said the transfer involved General Operations Force Central Brigade deputy commander ACP Aris @ Arif Omar, who would be appointed as Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) Resource Support Coordination assistant director.

She said Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) assistant director (Complaint Management) ACP Kamaruzaman Elias would take over the post of Parole Board (II) ACP at the Home Ministry in Putrajaya from ACP Khairy Abdul Kadir.

On the other hand, Khairy will take over Kamaruzaman’s post at JIPS.

Asmawati also said Langkawi district police chief ACP Dr Che Ghazali Che Awang would be appointed as Kelantan JPJKK chief. — Bernama

Meanwhile, Wangsa Maju district police deputy chief DSP Ramli Kasa will be appointed as Tampin police chief with the rank of acting Superintendent, while Bentong district police headquarters Criminal Investigation Division chief ASP Ashari Abu Samah will hold the post of Cameron Highlands district police chief with the rank of acting DSP. — Bernama
