Mint Communications to hold Private and International School Fair

KUCHING: Mint Communications Sdn Bhd will hold its second Private and International School Fair in East Malaysia.
A press release yesterday said the fair here will be at Pullman Kuching on April 21 from 1pm to 6pm, followed by Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu the next day also from 1pm to 6pm.
Mint Communications co-founder and director Nickie Yew said the fairs will feature preschool, primary and secondary school, as well as pre-university programmes.
He said boarding schools from Peninsular Malaysia will also be present including foreign universities with local campuses that offer foundation programmes.
“At the fairs, parents can talk to representatives of international schools, boarding schools and higher education providers that offer pre-university programmes. Many schools participating in the fairs also offer pre-university programmes such as A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme,” he said.
“Furthermore, parents who are interested in boarding schools can visit the Prince of Wales Island International School, Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar and Epsom College in Malaysia. Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed) and University of Reading Malaysia will also be present at the fairs to promote their foundation programmes.”
Other exhibitors include Kinabalu International School, King Henry VIII College, Labuan International School, Shattuck-St Mary’s School – Forest City, St Joseph’s International School Kuching, Sunway International School, The International School of Penang (Uplands), Tunku Putra-HELP International School Kuching, and EduQuest Education Services.
“In addition, parents will be able to purchase the 2017/2018 edition of the Education Destination Malaysia, which is an in-depth and comprehensive guide to international schools in the country. This guidebook contains detailed information on schools, useful articles, and insightful advice to help parents make important decisions about their children’s education,” Yiew added.
