Schools win awards for best managed resource centres

The representatives of the winning schools pose for a photograph with their prizes.

BINTULU: SMK Bintulu and SK Kampung Baru were respectively adjudged the winners in the ‘Anugerah Pengurusan Pusat Sumber Sekolah Bahagian Bintulu’ for secondary and primary school categories.

SK Sg Bagiau was the first place winner in the under-enrolled schools category or better known as SKM (Sekolah Kurang Murid).

Second and third place in the secondary school category went to SMK Kidurong and SMK Baru respectively.

SJKC Siong Boon was placed second in the primary school category followed by SK Sebauh in third. In the SKM category, second and third place winners went to SK Hermanus Assan and SK Sg Serulan respectively.

The competition was held from April 9 -12 and it was participated by 15 schools from Bintulu, Tatau and Sebauh.

The participating schools were SMK Bintulu, SMK Baru, SMK Kidurong, SK Kampung Baru, SK Kidurong 2, SJKC Siong Boon, SJKC CHung Hua, SK Bintulu, SK Tanjung Batu, SK Pandan Sebauh, SK Sebauh, SK SG Sebungan, SK Sg Setulan, SK Hermanus Assan and SK Sg Bagiau.
