BARABAI, S Kalimantan: A gapoktan or farmers group from Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District winning the best of provincial level based on the assessment of South Kalimantan Agriculture Agency, AntaranewsKalsel reported.
“Gapoktan that managed to boast of Earth Murakata (HST’s nickname) is Tri Warga headed by Syahril from Banua Hilir Village, Pandawan Subdistrict,” said HST government PR M Ramadlan on Tuesday (8/5) in Barabai.
In addition to Gapoktan Tri Warga, the achievement of pride is also achieved by HRTI Bharakat Hilir Banua farmers group who made it into the top three in South Kalimantan.
Not only that, it turns out agriculture counselor (PPL) from HST Hj Murhaniah SP won the top three best of South Kalimantan. Then H Joko Suwito SP as a farmer’s mantri (also a counselor) from Pandawan won third place in South Kalimantan.
For the best achievement of Gapoktan Tri Warga and other agricultural activists in HST, Acting Regent H A Chairansyah expressed salute and pride and appreciate the success of farmers in developing their potential and human resources as farmers.
“This achievement should be grateful for being one of the most successful indicators of successful agricultural development implemented by farmers with local governments,” he said.
