KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal has expressed concern over the Election Commission’s (EC) delay in signing the Form 14 documents as well as its delay in making the announcements of the GE14 winners in the states.

He echoed Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Tun Mahatir Mohamad’s concern in regards to the alleged tactic that BN will use to remain in power.

Based on the counting conducted by the respective Polling District Centers (PDM), Warisan and PH had obtained enough seats to form the state government, Shafie claimed.

He said there was a delay in regards to issuance of the Form 14, something that seemed to be a trend both in the state and federal level.

He added that caretaker Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman had supposedly lost his Sungai Sibuga seat and that the EC had refused to make the announcement.

He advised the EC to play its part fairly by signing the Form 14 documents and to make prompt announcements.
