KOTA KINABALU: Warisan president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal will be sworn in as the Chief Minister tonight at 9pm.
His deputy Darell Leiking made the announcement at Shafie’s residence and he called for Tan Sri Musa Aman to resign with ‘dignity’.
“Musa Aman should know (that) when he lost his majority, he should comply with the law.
“If I were him and I hope he’s better than that, he should resign with dignity. He lost his majority. There is no more question of him having the command of the house,” he said.
He is confident that the Head of State will do what is in accordance with the law.
“We are all good, we are all good,” he assured.
Meanwhile, Shafie was seen leaving his house at around 1150am. He is believed to be leaving for a closed-door meeting.
