LAWAS: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan commended local entrepreneurs for participating in the Ramadan bazaar in the district.
He advised them to practise good hygiene and cleanliness in their stalls during the month-long bazaar so that the food and drinks they sell are safe to consume.
Later, he handed out packets of Bubur Pedas Tahai and Bubur Lambuk to Muslims for the breaking of fast.
Among those present were Lawas MP Datuk Henry Sum Agong, Limbang Resident Ir Ahmad Denny Ahmad Fauzi, community leaders and members of Perkim.
