MIRI: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Baram has welcomed the state government’s willingness to cooperate with the Pakatan Harapan (PH) federal government led by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

In a statement yesterday, PKR Baram chief Roland Engan said the state government must, however, demonstrate its seriousness and commitment to such cooperation.

“For instance, our new PM seeks evidence to be produced to enable investigations on corruption, malpractice, and abuse of power to be intensified in Sarawak.

“Would Sarawak political parties be serious and committed to cooperate by revealing all the relevant information, documents, and witnesses to help out in any possible investigations?” he questioned.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg had said the state government would cooperate with the PH federal government as certain things were still under Putrajaya’s jurisdiction.
