PUTRAJAYA: As of 12.20 pm today, former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was still at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters where he had arrived at 9.45 am to give a statement in relation to a case linked to SRC International Sdn Bhd.

An MACC officer approached by Bernama confirmed that the MP for Pekan was still in the building and had not completed giving his statement.

As Najib arrived at the MACC headquarters today, dozens of reporters from the local and international media, who had been waiting from as early as 7 am, rushed towards him and Najib waved at them.

The MACC issued a notice last Friday for Najib to give his statement in connection with the case linked to SRC International, a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) that was placed under the Ministry of Finance in 2012. – Bernama
