TAWAU: The district health department had inspected 70 premises while issued three notices in an operation at Sabindo Plaza Ramadhan Bazaar yesterday.
The operation was led by Zamraney Hamidon together with its officer-in-chief Rahman Sampe as well as 30 enforcement officers.
The three notices were consisted of Rule 3(1) for not registering food premise, Rule 8(1)(a) for not displaying certificate of premise registration and Rule 33(1)(f) for wearing accessories when handling food.
The operation team also had seized six packets of popcorn with uncompleted label on it in the operation.
Rahman has strongly urged all premise operators do comply with the stated regulations during handling their business as well as always keep their premises and surrounding in clean manner.
He added that such operation would be carried out from time to time at several Ramadhan bazaar throughout the district here until Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
