No documents taken from Musa’s residence – lawyer

KOTA KINABALU: No files and documents of any kind were taken from the residence of Tan Sri Musa Haji Aman when the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) raided the place on Wednesday.

The legal counsel for Musa, Zahir Shah, said in a statement: “While the MACC was there to conduct a raid, we have been made to understand by the MACC themseves, that no such seizure took place i.e no files and documents of any kind were taken.

“We are further made to understand and confirmed by the MACC that no raid or any seizure of any kind took place after the said incident as well.

“We also strongly urge the media to verify their facts before publishing a story pertaining to our client,” he added.
