Titiwangsa MP reports for first day as minister of KPLB

PUTRAJAYA: Titiwangsa MP Rina Mohd Harun was given a warm welcome as she reported for her first day of duty as the Rural Development Minister at the head office of Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) in Putrajaya on Tuesday,

In her first speech as the new KPLB Minister, she described her appointment to this post by the Prime Minister as a major task which must be executed responsibly.

She hopes that KPLB will continue to be a ministry that is committed to the improvement of the living standards of the rural community in terms of socio-economic, human capital and technology.

She added that everyone in the ministry and agencies should work together in implementing programmes designed to advance the rural community.

Rina also hopes that KPLB will become a viable ministry and continue to benefit all Malaysians.

She was subsequently briefed on Introduction of KPLB by the ministry’s secretary general Datuk Borhan Dolah. Also present were the deputy secretary generals, secretaries of respective divisions in the ministry and head of department heads and agency chiefs.
