MIRI: A house owner got the shock of her life when she found an intruder inside one of the bedrooms in her house on Friday night.
The intruder was none other than a monkey, in the incident that happened around 11:20pm at Rh Ampit in Kampung Lambir here.
The 33-year-old woman panicked when she first saw the monkey jumping inside the bedroom.
She then contacted personnel from Civil Defense Force (APM) to catch the primate.
The team, after receiving the distress call at 11.23pm, rushed to the scene and arrived at the house at 11.34pm.
It took them nearly half an hour to catch the monkey.
The operation ended at 12.02am.
