KOTA SAMARAHAN: Assistant Minister of Coastal Road Datuk Julaihi Narawi welcomes the partnership between Sarawak government and the new Pakatan Harapan (PH) federal government  in the interests and well-being of the people.

He said the cooperation could be in the context of a system, whereby any government that has the mandate of the people, work together in administrating the state and country.

As for the Sarawak government which received a big mandate from the people during the last state election, he believed that the government would be able to work together with the federal government which also received a huge mandate from the people during the last general
election.

“This type of cooperation is for the benefit and well-being of the people.

“I believe both governments will be able to form a good partnership when it comes to serving the people,” he said when presenting donations to senior citizens and the needy at Kampung Tungkah Melayu on Sunday.

He also hoped that the federal government would continue to implement all projects approved by the previous  government such as the construction of Batang Lupar Bridge, Igan Bridge and the building of schools such as SMK Sebuyau here.

Julaihi also had the breaking-of-fast and perform prayers with the residents of Kampung Tungkah Melayu after the official event.
