MIRI: Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau hopes federal-funded projects in rural Sarawak will still continue under Pakatan Harapan (PH).

He said this is important because the approved projects are much needed by the people.

“It is important that all projects in rural areas, which have

been approved, will be implemented so that the people benefit from them,” he said when Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA) members invited him to a Gawai Dayak and Hari Raya Aidilfitri dinner on June 27.

Dennis pointed out that the Sarawak government has always focussed on rural development, including through the Rural Transformation Project (RTP).

He called on the PH federal government to do more to assist rural Sarawak to spur development.

Dennis also pointed out that his constituency of Telang Usan is among the areas in need of more development projects.
