Kuching tattoo artist bags three grand prizes in London

KUCHING: Local tattoo artist Eric Kueh of 71st Skin Slavery made Sarawak proud by bagging three grand prizes from the 2018 Great British International Tattoo Show held in London last month.

He won the Best Black and Grey Tattoo Award, the Best Sunday Award and the Best of the Show Award.

According to a publicity release, more than 400 tattoo artists from all over the world had gathered at  one of the largest tattoo events in London.

In fact, Kueh has won numerous international tattoo awards throughout his career including at the Worth of Art Convention and Workshop in the Philippine in 2010, the 2nd Annual Taiwan International Tattoo Convention in 2011, Indonesia’s Festival Tattoo Istimewa in 2011, the Dudutan11 Philippine Tattoo Expo in 2011, 2nd India Tattoo Convention in 2012, 3rd International Nepal Tattoo Convention, 7th Alkmaar Tattoo Convention in Netherlands in 2013, the Australian Tattoo and Body Art Expo in Adelaide in 2014 and Thailand’s Koh Samui Tattoo Convention in 2015.
