SARIKEI: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Mandarin Repok recently presented its first half of the year Presidential Awards.

The Most Outstanding New Member Award went to Loh Moh Fu.

Other award recipients were Chai Mung Kui (The Most Outstanding Exco Board of Directors Award); Joey Kong (The Most Outstanding Current Member Award); Ngu Mei Jiun (The Most Supportive Member Award); Joey Kong (The Most Outstanding Organising Chairman Award); and Wong Ung Ngie (The Most Supportive Past President Award).

In her speech, JCI Mandarin Repok president Stella Law reminded members to make full use of the opportunity while in the organisation to change themselves for the better.  She said JCI offers ample opportunity to learn especially leadership skills and positive life values, as well as gain valuable experience.

“Let us be reminded by JCI’s slogan ‘Change begins with me’, which means to change others, start by changing yourself,” said Law.
