MIRI: The Madu and Bukit Kasut trails at Niah National Park and the trail to Rh. Panjang Patrick Libau are temporary closed until further notice.
Sarawak Forestry Corporation Sdn Bhd (SFCSB) made the announced last Friday, saying the closure takes immediate effect.
“Due to heavy rain in the area during the past several days, a nearby river had overflowed and flooded the trails.
However, the main trail remains open for visitors,” it said in a press statement.
All the trails will be re-opened after clearing and repair works had been completed and the trails are deemed safe for the public.
