New gov’t did not fulfill all election promises within 100 days – DCM

TAWAU: Deputy Chief Minister Christina Liew admitted the new government did not fulfill all its promises in the manifesto within 100 days, but is working on fulfilling it.

Liew, who also the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah chief said the government does not stop working as it has to accomplish so many things but unable to fulfill all the promises due to so much problems left by the previous government.

“I have to admit we did not fulfill all but we are working on it, but we have fulfill some of them give us a little bit more time we will be able to carry it out,” she said in an event here today.

She said when PH made the manifesto it did not know the country that was run by the previous government have so much problem.

“So that is why I said, 100 days we are moving on, we are working on it but give us more time, we will be able to fulfill what we promised,” she added.

She said according to Merdeka Center survey 67 percent of Malaysians are very happy with the new government, and given more time, she is sure PH will reach higher than 67 percent.

Christina said the majority of the people are happy and also understanding as they gave PH time to fulfill its promises.
