Chocolate thieves nabbed

MIRI: Police arrested two men on Sunday night after the two were caught red-handed stealing chocolates from a supermarket here.

It is learnt that the two suspects, aged 21 and 26, were caught in the act by the supermarket’s security guard at around 8pm.

Upon checking their bags, the security guard found 10 packets of Cadbury chocolates, which prompted him to call the police.

Police, who arrived later, immediately apprehended the two suspects.

The case is being investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code for theft.
