GEORGE TOWN: The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development (MED) will continue with the grant funding scheme and even enhance it further to help entrepreneurs strengthen and expand their business.
Its minister, Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof, said MED would provide the grants to them in a better and easier way in the near future.
“The newly-elected government will not dismantle the previous government’s policies (on this) and we at MED will retain the good policies as well as the grant scheme for entrepreneurs.
“However, there may be a delay as this ministry has just been revived.
“I hope entrepreneurs will not be worried, as the grants that were previously available will be continued and enhanced; in fact, we’ll make it easier to approve these grants,” he said. — Bernama
