Musa departs KKIA believed to be heading for KL

Musa took off from the Terminal 2, Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) to a destination which is not clear but it is believed to be Kuala Lumpur.

KOTA KINABALU: Former Sabah chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman tonight took off from the Terminal 2, Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) to a destination which is not clear but it is believed to be Kuala Lumpur.

The special aircraft boarded by Musa to an undisclosed destination left the KKIA at about 10pm.

Among Musa’s supporters who sent him to the airport were former Member of Parliament for Sipitang Datuk Sapawi Ahmad, Datuk Gulam Haidar Khan and former Assemblyman for Kunak Datuk Nilwan Kabang.

It was learnt that Musa was going to the federal capital to continue with his medical treatment at a private hospital there.

Musa, who arrived in Sabah this afternoon, was sworn in as the State Assemblyman for Sungai Sibuga at the Sabah State Legislative Assembly building.

The swearing-in ceremony before Sabah State Legislative Assembly Speaker, Datuk Syed Abas Syed Ali concluded at 3. 33 pm.

Speaking to reporters later, Musa said that he was thankful to the Sabah State Legislative Assembly Speaker for giving his consent for him to be sworn in as the State Assemblyman for Sungai Sibuga today. – Bernama
