MIRI: Sarawak Association for Peoples’ Aspiration (Sapa) will stage a peaceful protest tomorrow over the loss of Sarawak’s rights to its oil and gas resources.

The assembly point shall be at Miri Central Padang at 8am.

From there the protesters will proceed in a convoy of vehicles to PetronasGas head office in Lutong to deliver a memorandum before dismissal.

Sapa president Lina Soo in a statement yesterday said the demonstration is held under the Peaceful Assembly Act.

She called on Sarawakians including all political parties and NGOs to participate in the protest themed ‘Sarawak Soil, Sarawak Oil’ dressed in black to get justice for Sarawak.
