Rescuers in the process of removing the body from the driver’s seat of the car.
MIRI: A man was found dead in his car yesterday morning following a suspected single-vehicle crash in Kuala Baram.
The deceased has been identified as Banyang Jamban, 35.
Passersby spotted the victim’s car, which had crashed into a tree at Jalan Perlis, and immediately contacted the authorities after realising that someone was inside.
Personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department as well as Civil Defence Force arrived at the scene shortly after to remove the victim’s body from the car.
Based on the condition of the body, it is believed the victim died a few hours earlier.
The body was later sent to Miri Hospital for a post-mortem.
