Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak head list of 1,158 Sabah award recipients

KOTA KINABALU: The Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak Datuk David Wong Dak Wah heads a list of 1,158 recipients of awards and medals in conjunction with the 65th birthday of the Yang Dipertua Negeri of Sabah, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, tomorrow.

David Wong is among the two recipients of the Seri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu (SPDK) which is highest award in Sabah carrying the title ‘Datuk Seri Panglima’.

Another SPDK recipient is State Secretary Datuk Hashim Paijan.

International Trade and Industry Minister, Ignatius Darrel Leiking is among 65 people to be conferred the second highest award in the state which is the Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu (PGDK) which carries the title ‘Datuk’.

Also to be awarded the PGDK are Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Christina Liew, Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Jaujan Sambakong, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi, Deputy Home Minister, Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman, Sabah People’s Health and Wellbeing Minister Stephen Wong Tien Fatt, Sabah Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Junz Wong, Sabah Rural Development Minister, Ewon Benedick, Sabah Youth and Sports Minister Frankie Poon, Sabah Infrastructure Development Minister, Datuk Peter Anthony, Assistant Law and Native Affairs Minister Uda Sulai, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Jimmy Wong, and Sabah police commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah.

Other recipients of PGDK are Abd Razak Sallim, Abdillah Abd Hamid, Abu Bakar Latip, Tamrin Mohd Jaini, Alexander Decena, Aris Malayu, Bahari Hassan, Chee Chi Vun, Chong Eng Kiow, Datu Rosmadi Datu Sulai, Duncan Sikodol, Francis Liew Kim Choong, Hamdan Ismail, Hassim Justin, Ismail Ahmad, Jamalul Kiram Zakaria, Janet Chee Ken Liam, Janice Lim Fung Ha, Jikal Gabie, Johnny@Juni Intang.

Persatuan Suang Lotud (LOTUD) Sabah president, Datuk Freddie Sua is among those conferred the Justice of Peace (JP).

Also to be awarded JP are Kota Kinabalu Session’s Court Judge Elsie Primus, and Sabah PKR deputy chairman Mustapha Sakmud.

Other recipients are, Abdul Razak Jamil, Azreena Aziz, Batholomew Jingulam, Hassan Basri Aplasin, Jakariya Ab Jalil, Koh Siew Eng, Mathew Willie, Sazalye Dondol Abdullah and William Michael Mojilip

A total of 119 people will receive the title Ahli Setia Darjah Kinabalu (ASDK) and among the recipients will include Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis @ Fakharudy (Deputy Energy, Technology, Science, Climate Change and Environment Minister), Azhar Matussin (Assistant Trade and Industry Minister), Assaffal @ Samsul Kamal P Alian (Assistant Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister), Dr Daud Yusof (Assistant Agriculture and Food Industry Minister), Norazlinah Arif (Assistant People’s Health and Wellbeing Minister), Jenifer Lasimbang (Assistant Education and Innovation Minister), Jannie Lasimbang (Assistant Law and Native Affairs Minister), Loretto Padua Jr (appointed assemblyman), Terrence Siambun (appointed assemblyman).

Sabah State Water Department head Amarjit Singh will be among 252 recipients of the Ahli Darjah Kinabalu (ADK).

Meanwhile, there will also be 234 recipients of the Bintang Setia Kinabalu (BSK), 333 recipients of Bintang Kinabalu (BK) and 141 people will receive the Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji (PPT).
