MIRI: PP MSNS Miri only need a draw against rivals Landas in the final match of the 2018 Miri Super League tomorrow to be crowned league champion.

According to tournament chairman Ismail Saual, both teams are tied at 13 points each on top of the table, but PP MSNS hold a slight advantage with a superior goal difference.

He added that Landas must win the game at Kelab Rekreasi Petroleum (KRP) in Lutong, and bag all three points to get their hands on the title.

“The game will be in favour of the team with the most goal difference,” he told The Borneo Post yesterday.

Permy Galaxy will play against Perdanaku in their final league match on Oct 13 for the first runner-up spot.

Meanwhile, IPD Miri’s striker Salprin Salleh was named the league’s Top Scorer.

“Salprin Salleh, who plays for the IPD Miri team, scored 10 goals throughout the tournament,” Ismail said.

They finished fourth in the league with eight points.

Other teams in the league were Miri Fireresq FC and OUFC.
