SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Dato Sri Huang Tiong Sii said he would look into ways and means to help residents of Rumah Clement and Rumah Ngelai to build their new homes to replace their dilapidated existing longhouses.

During his visit to Rumah Clement in Stok area and Rumah Nelai in Bulat area near here yesterday, Huang said he would allocate part of his Minor Rural Project (MRP) and Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) funds to both longhouses.
So far Huang had assisted the residents to clear the sites for the new longhouses.
Among those who accompanied Huang during the visit were Sarikei District Council chairperson Wong Zee Yeng and local community leaders.
