MIRI: A teenage boy pleaded guilty in the Juvenile Court to a charge of raping a 13 year old girl.
However, the court set Nov 21 to hear his probationary report which will be presented by an officer from the Welfare Department.
The juvenile was released on a RM5,000 bail with his father as surety.
The offender who is also 13 years old from Jalan Bakam was charged according to Section 376 (1) of the Penal Code which carries a jail term up to 20 years and whipping upon conviction.
Based on facts of the case, he was found guilty of raping the minor who was 13 years and four months old.
He allegedly committed the offence between 9pm and 11pm on August 24 at a lot at Jalan Pinang 2A, Riam Lama here.
