KUCHING: World Bowling Championship 2017 women’s  gold medallist from Japan, Futaba Imai is back in town for a three-day training stint under ex-national coach Foong Tat Meng who is assisted by Sarawak bowling head coach Jackson Ting.

Futaba, who was here in 2016, is accompanied by another world champion Nanami Irie, the gold medallist in the 15th World Youth Bowling Championship 2018 in Detroit, US.

They are here on an exchange training programme with Amateur Bowling Association of Sarawak (Abas).
