Police recovers stolen government agriculture goods in Limbang

LIMBANG: Police have recovered some of the suspected stolen goods reported missing from a government department’s here store with the arrest of three men including two siblings on last Thursday.

Four units of grass cutter machines of various brands were recovered on Friday after the two brothers aged 31 and 35 from Pandaruan Road brought the police to the locations where the items were kept.

Limbang District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Bukhori Saffai said the four grass cutter machines were found at three separate locations around Kampung Pahlawan, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

“Both suspects who were brothers from Pandaruan Road showed the police the locations where they hid the goods,” he said today.

In addition to the grass cutter machines other items reported stolen were fertiliser and various pesticides with total value of RM19,000,” he said.

He added from intelligence and public information, police arrested the two brothers and their friend, 37 from Pemukat road here between 12 noon and 5pm at three separate locations on Thursday.

All the suspects were ordered on Friday by the Magistrate’s Court Limbang to be remanded for four days for investigation under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
