KUCHING: The Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (Centexs) has created history by being Huawei’s first skills-training provider in South East Asia.

He also pointed out that the course, to be provided by Huawei, would be open to local trainees and those from other South East Asian countries.

“Centexs has established its first digital training and digital lab in Kuching and is set to be the first South East Asia’s regional Huawei certified specialists training partner.

“This is an initiative to prepare youths for the digital world and contribute to Sarawak’s digital economy,” he said at Centexs’ fourth convocation at Penview Convention Centre Demak (PCCD) here yesterday, where Minister in Chief Minister’s Office (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talip Zulpilip officiated.
