SIBU: All five persons who were previously detained in Cambodia returned to Sibu safely this morning.

They were greeted and hugged emotionally by their family members at the airport after their plane touched down at 10.05am.

Among them was Ngu Jun Hui who revealed of his nightmarish experience.

The man who identified himself as ‘Honda Bui’ posted in his Facebook on his return to Malaysia.

According to Ngu he was lured into the job offer in WeChat last October.

He said when they arrived in Cambodia, they were picked up by a Cambodian who confiscated his passport.

”We were taken to a house where we were locked inside. There was no way for us to run until our arrest by the Cambodian police last Dec 11. The human traffickers from mainland China were also arrested.”

He said there was no way for them to contact with the outside world during their confinement, and therefore, they were unable to contact their family members.

Ngu said he had returned empty handed as all of his personal belongings were gone.

He said the Malaysian government gave them each a temporary passport to enable them to fly back yesterday.

Despite the promise of a lucrative job offer, he said no job was given to them on their arrival and they were confined.

Among them was a man who called himself Honda Bui.

He posted a photograph of himself boarding a flight this morning and wrote: ”Feeling loved. Finally back home to Malaysia.”
