SANDAKAN: A fire destroyed six houses and damaged one in a village along Jalan Seguntor, 16 km from here, today.
No one was injured in the blaze, according to the Sabah Fire & Rescue Department.
Its operations centre was alerted to the fire at 10.43 am and a team of firefighters arrived at the village at 11.06 am, the department said in a statement.
“Seven houses were affected by the fire which destroyed six of the houses and damaged one,” the statement said. -Bernama
