Three men nabbed for stealing rail track clips

JOHOR BAHARU: Police arrested three men for stealing rail track clips worth RM50,000 at Km25 Kempas-Pasir Gudang railway line on Tuesday.Johor police chief Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said the trio were arrested by auxiliary policemen who were patrolling the railway line at 2.30pm.
“They found five plastic bags containing 205 rail track clips and seized a Ford used by them,” he told reporters here yesterday.
Two of the three men aged 31-35 years-old had criminal records including vehicle theft, drugs and outrage of modesty.
Mokhtar said they were investigated under Section 430A of Penal Code. — Bernama
