“3D TV viewing is the next big step in home entertainment and our aim is to educate Sarawakians about the technology, at the same time provide information on Samsung’s 3D products,” said SME sales director Lee Chong.
“The Samsung 3DTV Roadshow is an excellent way to showcase our full range of 3D TV capabilities and one that will excite the senses to the power of 3D,” he informed during the launch.
With an objective to provide a real time experience of 3D TV viewing to Sarawakians, this unique and experimental Samsung 3D TV roadshow and various consumer activation activities was an opportunity for the company to connect with Sarawakians who were excited about the advance of 3D Technology in the market.
Additionally, the roadshow comes with many promotions such as CL Khoon’s attractive ‘Soccer Fever Triple Bonus Promotion’ from June 16 to July 15. Owning a 3D TV has been made even more affordable than ever.
The roadshow will play 3D Content and visitors are welcome to enjoy the exquisite experience in entertainment. Technical engineers would be present to help everyone with product queries for 3D TV’s.
As the first company to launch the widest range of full HD 3D entertainment products in Malaysia in March this year, Samsung was also the first company to launch an entire suite of 3D solutions for the home including the world’s first full HD 3D LED TV, 3D Blu-ray Player and 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre System.
“Anyone who has not experienced or watched 3D content will now have the opportunity to do so as during the roadshow we will educate visitors about 3D technology and showcase all Samsung 3D products.
“As the industry’s leading display manufacturer and design innovator, our revolutionary 3D TV experience is available not only on our flagship LED TV models, but on our LCD and Plasma TV models too. This gives you a choice of technology and style that allows you to create your ideal 3D home entertainment environment,” he added.
Samsung’s 3D TV Technology uses automatic 3D conversion to create a deeper, more realistic 3D experience. When watching 3D content with a 3D-enabled Blu-ray disc player, the Samsung 3D TV accurately detects 3D input signals. Because of this, Samsung 3D TVs generate superior stereoscopic images that fully immerse viewers into a whole new world of home entertainment.
In Malaysia, Samsung has been the dominant LCD TV leader for four consecutive years.
“From 2006 to 2009, based on data in December last year, Samsung reached 21 per cent market share in the Malaysia market,” Chong said.
Following the launch of the first Samsung Digital Centre in East Malaysia in January this year, CL Khoon Trading Sdn Bhd aimed to make 3D TV ownership affordable through various promotions.
The ‘Soccer Fever Triple Bonus Promotion’ runs from June 16 to July 15 giving away ‘Soccer Fever’ vouchers and mystery gifts.
