KUCHING: Malaysian wedding photographers Patrick Low, Peter Tan and Alvin Leong will be sharing their experiences and along with tips and pointers for suitable photographers of all levels during the ‘For the Love of Photography’ talk at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching on Friday evening July 23, 2010 from 7.30pm onwards.

NOBLE EFFORT: Leong says one of WPPM’s efforts to help the industry is through the Youth Photography Festival 2010 held in conjunction with the Perhimpunan Belia 2010.
All three speakers are from the Wedding and Portraits Photographers Malaysia (WPPM), a professional body established with the main objective to foster good business practices, mobilise the photography community, to promote and set world-class photography standards in the local industry.
WPPM aims to provide a platform to all wedding and portrait photographers from students to professionals in Malaysia to advance in their arts and crafts via common sharing through the exchange of ideas and develop good professional business ethics.
“One of WPPM’s efforts to help the industry is through the Youth Photography Festival 2010 held in conjunction with the Perhimpunan Belia 2010. WPPM together with the Alvin Leong Academy of Photography (ALAP) is jointly organising the festival. The objective of this festival is to instill a healthy hobby and the love of photography in Sarawak’s youth through our various photography activities,” commented Leong.
