KOTA KINABALU: Major climatic disasters are expected to continue this year due to two missing elements in the Year of the Rabbit, namely water and earth.
However, all is not lost as there is wealth to be made in 2011 and in fact, almost all the animal signs in the astrological chart have excellent prospects for making big money this year.
Renowned feng shui master Lillian Too disclosed this to The Borneo Post when asked what is in store for the Year of the Golden Rabbit that will start on February 4.
According to the feng shui author and practitioner, because of the missing water element last year, several natural disasters would occur.
“Last year, the Tiger Year Paht Chee chart was missing the water element completely. This does not mean that Water is non-existent; it means that it has gone elsewhere, and hence when it manifests itself to counter this major imbalance, it comes in a large and wrathful form.
“Looking back, we see that 2010 (which did not have any water), suffered some of the worst floods ever – for example the terrible flood in Pakistan which destroyed the homes of more than 20,000 people … and more recently in Queensland. In colder parts of the world, the displacement of water manifested in the form of snow and hail storms.
“This year, I’m afraid that the chart for 2011 is also severely lacking in Water. Not only Water, but Earth is also short in supply. With these two vital elements missing, I fear that this year we will continue to suffer major climatic disasters,” she said.
When asked whether it would hit Malaysia, she replied: “That I cannot say as the charts do not reveal where precisely they will hit – but I do hope that we will be safe and I urge everyone to wear cosmic amulets that can protect you from being in the wrong place at the wrong time – especially if you are travelling to regions that have volcanic activity.
“The Paht Chee chart also reveals that all four pillars are severely clashing. On top of that, the violence star number 7 flies into the centre of the Flying Star Charts. With missing elements in the charts and clashing pillars, it tells me that the energy for this year is very volatile, quarrelsome and very dark. Fighting Chi dominates. International disagreements will escalate and there could even be a high-profile assassination. Air and road accidents will rise.
“Hence it is so vital that in addition to placing the appropriate feng shui cures, we engage the help of cosmic forces by wearing amulets of protection. According to some feng shui consultants, those born in the Year of the Rabbit will not have it easy even though it is their year.
On how to remedy this ill luck or at least reduce the misfortune, Lillian’s reply was that in 2011, the Rabbit resides in the East, and this sector is severely afflicted by the Five Yellow this year.
The Five Yellow brings misfortune and is not to be taken lightly, she stressed, adding that in the Zodiac, the palace of the Rabbit is also the sector which hosts the Tai Sui (The Grand Duke Jupiter) this year, and is thus in both the position to gain his help, or offend him terribly!
This in addition to the Five Yellow, takes a toll on the life essence of the Rabbit who will feel tired easily, and will be presented with many obstacles that will have to be overcome, she added.
“My advice is to place the appropriate cures on the East – the Five Element Pagoda to lock up the Five Yellow, and the Tai Sui Plaque to appease the Grand Duke Jupiter.
“For the Rabbit this is not the year to attempt any major transformational changes in your life such as moving countries, leaving your job, starting a new business, etc.
“This is a time of consolidation, to lay low and to take each day at a time. It is also a great idea to borrow the good luck of all your astrological allies. The Rabbit’s Secret Friend is the Dog, who enjoys great good fortune this year as the Dog is visited by the Prosperity star 8 this year!
“The Boar who is the Rabbit’s astrological friend, is one of the five extremely lucky animals this year, flanked by big auspicious stars and visited by the Star of Big Prosperity.
“Hence if you are a Rabbit, and you are indeed planning to start a new business, then include the Boar or the Dog as your business partner. You can also bring their luck into your home by placing the Boar and Dog in your home in their respective directional palaces,” she pointed out.
According to Lillian, the other animal sign who is afflicted this year is the Rooster, who is sitting on the Star of Natural Disaster and directly confronts the Grand Duke Jupiter.
“Hence the Rooster must take care not to over-extend and travel too often this year. Carry amulets of protection with you and perform plenty of incense offerings to clear away obstacles. This will improve your luck tremendously,” she advised.
As to what industry or sector will fare well in the year of the Rabbit, Lillian replied that the stock market and money markets look very good this year – there will be plenty of opportunities to invest that will bear fruit.
The energy for buying is good all year around except in the months of August and October where things will start to slow down, she said.
“If you are buying stocks and shares, my advice would be to exit the market by October as this is when the charts indicate that the good energy ends.”
The other industry that will fare well, she pointed out, is the real estate and property industry. Those who invest in real estate and property will do very well indeed.
On the type of emulets that can help remedy the ill fortune and enhance the good luck, Lillian stressed that amulets that you can carry with you are absolutely essential for this year – as you never know when circumstances will suddenly converge to initiate a series of bad luck.
She pointed out that the Number 7 flying star is in the centre of the home, and when a star flies into the centre, it affects everybody. The Number 7 star brings violence and burglary. “Earlier I highlighted that natural disaster was looming for 2011 but it does not mean that there is no wealth to be made!
