KUCHING: Eyesight Optic Sdn Bhd is optimistic that Kids Network 2010 will be a successful event for the year.
On Dec 26 last year (2009), the company handed over sponsorship to the organiser Borneo International Expo Sdn Bhd (BIE).
The handing over of the sponsorship event on Dec 26 2009 was held at Eyesight Optic showroom/branch at the first floor of Boulevard Shopping Mall here.
Eyesight Optic managing director Willy Khow presented the sponsorship to BIE project manager Delia Goh.
The Borneo Post is the official paper for the event, themed ‘Nurturing the Growing Mind’ which is to take place at Permata Exhibition Hall here from March 19 to 21, 2010.
Eyesight Optic deals with various branded spectacles frames, sun-glasses, glasses and related products.
Professional personnel using modern eye screening machines to give customers accurate results, are on hand, it said through a press statement made available yesterday.
“There are special offers for glasses from time to time, which allow you to change your glasses whenever you want,” it said.
The company classified under the Optician/Optical Centre category, has shops at the Riverside Shopping Complex (Lower Ground Floor) here with telephone numbers 082-233418 and fax 082-255418.
Its business hours start from 10 am until 10 pm daily.

Meanwhile BIE said the Kids Network 2010 is set to be Sarawak’s Biggest event for children.
It will be the second time to be held here.
In 2008, it recorded 13,000 visitors.
The event is scheduled to see 106 booths set up by various companies to expose their brands and products under one roof.
Some 1,000 goodies bags each containing products of more than 10 other sponsors for the Kids’ Network are up for grabs during the three-day exhibition.
Goh disclosed that 40 per cent of the 106 designated booths had already been taken up so far.
“We aim at providing better understanding to our children’s needs besides focusing on young married couples, parents, grandparents and guardians to offer them enhanced information on best products and services,” Goh said.
She believed that Kids’ Network was the ‘perfect avenue’ for brands specialising in products and services from conceiving, birth to toddler hood.
The organiser is thus be able to group the players in the fast growing and expanding child-related industry under one roof, she added.
