SARIKEI: Local bank manager Ahmad Saifi Mohamad Mortadza received the grand prize of a Proton Exora in the November 2009 Kempen Langgan & Menang Pembiayaan Peribadi-I Aslah.
He received a mock car key from the head of Bank Rakyat Sarawak Region, Sheikh Yahaya Ahmad during a prize presentation ceremony held in front of Bank Rakyat Sarikei branch premises yesterday afternoon.
This campaign held in conjunction with Bank Rakyat’s 55th anniversary celebration which ran from Oct 1 to Dec 31 last year.
Customers of the 1Aslah Personal Financing-I stood a chance to win 55 prizes worth RM100,000 every month during the three-month campaign.
Prizes include flat screen televisions and home theatre sets, video cameras, laptops, handphones, digital cameras, GPS, MP3 player and petrol vouchers.
Due to overwhelming response from its customers, Bank Rakyat will continue this campaign from Jan 1 to March 30 this year.
The bank had enhanced the 1Aslah Personal Financing-I for government servants with repayment through Biro Potongan Angkasa (BPA).
The enhancement sees an increase in maximum financing from RM150,000 to RM200,000 with profit rate from as low as 3.25 per cent and a longer repayment period from 15 to 20 years.
The winners’ list for November, 2009 was announced in all major newspapers on Dec 21, 2009 while winners for December, 2009 will be announced on Jan 18.
Among those present at the ceremony were Bank Rakyat Sarikei branch manager Mohamed Al Namiri Che Man and managers from other branches.
The ceremony continued with a durian fest where guests were treated to a variety of seasonal fruits.
