KUCHING: Boulevard Hypermarket and Department Store is a great one-stop centre for all shopping needs with the Chinese New Year (CNY) around the corner.The Hypermarket has newly arrived CNY goods like vegetables flown in from China and Australia, oranges, biscuits and tidbits.
According to the Hypermarket manager Bong Teck Py’ng, there are many promotions for food, household and decorative items for this auspicious celebration.
He said though some prices have increased, the items sold at the Hypermarket and Department Store remain affordable.
“Beginning Feb 6, we will extend our business hours to 11.30pm daily. That means we open from 9am and close at 11.30pm,” Bong said at a recent media briefing.
Bong revealed that Boulevard will also offer certain items at surprise prices daily this February.
“So look out for our daily surprise prices to enjoy greater savings,” he said.
At the Department Store, customers will be given free ‘angpow’ packets with purchase of RM100 and above on a single day or a free table calendar and glass plate with purchase of RM200 and above on a single day while stocks last.
Customers are also entitled to purchase one carton of Yeo’s packet
drinks (250ml X 24s) at RM11.90 with a purchase of RM100 and above on a
single receipt in a single day at the Department Store only.
This promotion is valid until Feb 13.
Those looking for decorative items like cherry blossoms should head for Boulevard City on the 3rd and 4th floor. There are various colours to choose from.
Other products available are cushion pillows, flower vase, bags and electronic items.
All items on these two floors were imported directly from China.
