After FOUR offers special deals for CNY

KUCHING: After FOUR, a subsidiary coffeeshop under The Banquet group, is offering a lot of dishes that will entice the tastebuds of food lovers.

The outlet, occupying a space that used to be the first floor of SNAP headquarters at Rubber Road here, also offers special deals for the coming Chinese New Year.

Firstly, it is now offering 18 varieties of Hong Kong dim sum plus two porridges and to make the offer sweeter, orders of four dim sum basket will entitle diners to one free dim sum basket. This offer is ongoing and promotion is valid from 7 am to 10 am daily.

Secondly, its fusion set meal now comes with one dessert and prices start from RM8.80.

Thirdly, the outlet is launching its dessert menu which include Mango Shaved Ice and Blueberry Shaved Ice from 11 am onwards.

According to The Banquet group director Lee Chin Teck, After FOUR is the first outlet to be franchised. The next outlet to be opened will be called After THREE in Bintulu, on Feb 21.

“Eventhough this is a kopitiam, we want to emphasise that our service is on par with restaurants. Our seating capacity is for 100 persons, therefore, we need to make sure that our customers are served promptly with the aid of 12 kitchen staff,” said Lee at a media briefing at the outlet yesterday.

He added that the outlet has 30 over staff members, of which 12 were kitchen staff.

He said that as its parent company, The Banquet has been certified ‘halal’, After THREE and After FOUR are in the process of obtaining the certification.

For the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration, After THREE and After FOUR are offering Chinese New Year Eve Reunion Dinner on Feb 13, catering for small families of four to six persons.

The seven-course dinner dishes are ‘Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng’, ‘Braised Shark’s Fin Soup with Crab Meat’, ‘Steamed Tilapia in Hong Kong Style’, ‘Steamed Chicken with Herbs’, ‘Fried Prawns with Oats and Egg’, ‘Braised Noodles with Shredded Chicken’, ‘Cream of Red Bean with Lotus Seed’ and free flow of soft drinks and Chinese Tea.
