BERA: The Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Ministry will announce on Feb 3 the prices for 11 price-controlled items during the Chinese New Year celebration.
Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said at the moment the ministry was still discussing the matter with industry representatives.
Speaking to reporters after opening the Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Kerayong Jaya’s Parent-Teacher’s Association meeting here yesterday, he said among the price-control items during the Chinese New Year were pork, eggs and chicken.
He assured the Chinese community that supplies during the celebration were sufficient. — Bernama
